Beginner Obedience Class

8 weeks – 1 hour per week
Suitable for:
Dogs of all breeds and ages (8 weeks and up)
What You’ll Learn:
– Proper socialization
-Handling and grooming tolerance
– Basic commands: sit, stand, down, stay, come, heel
– Loose leash walking
– Managing behaviours like jumping, chewing, digging, barking
Schedule – Winter 2025:
Mondays: 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Mondays: 6:45 PM – 7:45 PM
Tuesdays: 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Tuesdays: 6:45 PM – 7:45 PM
This class focuses on the foundations: sit, down, stand, stay, come when called, and walking nicely on leash without pulling. You’ll also learn how to properly socialize your dog and get them comfortable with being handled. These skills help curb common problem behaviours like jumping, chewing, and barking. Open to all breeds, sizes, and ages (8 weeks and up)—no dog is too old or too stubborn to learn.
