Hi. I’m looking to find outdoors activities. All seasons. Retired now but still active. Trails. Lakes. Groups. Anything would be helpful. Thanks

A good starting point would be Rainbow Routes Association. They are nonprofit and have regular programs for hikes and outdoor activities. https://www.rainbowroutes.com/

The City Of Greater Sudbury has a large variety of lakes and outdoor spaces to explore. https://www.greatersudbury.ca/play/beaches-and-lakes/

Outdoor pickleball in summer, for now it’s indoors. I posted a new thread:

Pickleball needs players. Info included in this thread

Lake Laurentian Conservation Area has alot of trails for all four seasons for hiking, cycling, running, walking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. That is where I prefer to go.

      Trails and Activities:

Bell Park Walkway: A 2km paved/boardwalk path along Ramsey Lake with beaches and scenic views.

Blueberry Hill Trail: A 1km loop near Carmichael Arena providing scenic lookouts over Minnow and Ramsey Lakes.

Jane Goodall Reclamation Trail: A 1km interpretive trail detailing Sudbury’s regreening efforts.

Kelly Lake Trail: A trail running through a bird sanctuary, starting at Fielding Memorial Park.

Water Activities: Kayaking, canoeing, and fishing are popular at Crowley Lake and Windy Lake Provincial Park.

Specialty Experience: Talon and Bark Falconry (20 minutes from Sudbury) offers falconry experiences and hawk walks
